Dead Knife Distro was formed in late 1998 to release material from local metallic hardcore band FIRST RAID FIT.

Operating out of basements and rented storage space, Dead Knife handled limited pressings and regional distribution throughout Michigan and Northern Ohio.

Operations slowed in the mid-2000s. Remaining stock was boxed and stored.

Dead Knife Distro has quietly resumed distribution of archived material.
